Sammi Strahl, LCSW

Founder & Clinical Child Therapist

Sammi Strahl, LCSW, is the founder of BeHive Therapy and a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience supporting children and families. She specializes in play-based, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions for children ages 2–10, creating individualized programs that help kids build skills in self-regulation, socialization, emotional awareness, and problem-solving.

Sammi’s approach is collaborative and strength-based. She works closely with parents, caregivers, and school staff to create a supportive network around each child, tailoring interventions to meet the child’s unique needs, interests, and goals. Her sessions incorporate play, role-playing, mindfulness, and modeling strategies to help children practice new skills in a fun, safe, and structured environment.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Sammi is passionate about fostering curiosity, confidence, and resilience in children. Lindsey Brasgold, LMSW

Child Therapist

Lindsey Brasgold, LMSW, is a dedicated provider with extensive experience supporting children and families. She received her Masters in Social Work from New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. Lindsey provides social-emotional and behavioral support to children ages 5–10, helping them develop healthy coping strategies, navigate big feelings, and strengthen social connections through play and mindfulness techniques.

Lindsey’s approach is collaborative, inclusive, and tailored to each child’s unique needs. She has worked with children with diverse learning and emotional profiles, supported families in understanding their child’s social-emotional growth, and partnered with teams to foster positive group dynamics and a sense of belonging.

Lindsey is a warm, creative, and empathetic clinician who prioritizes building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She integrates creativity and hands-on activities to help children express emotions, build confidence, and learn practical skills for managing feelings and navigating social situations. With her thoughtful approach, Lindsey provides a safe, supportive space where children feel empowered, capable, and motivated to reach their full potential.

Jenna Kaufman, LMSW

Child Therapist

Jenna Kaufman, LMSW, is a compassionate clinician with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across school, community, and clinical settings. She earned her Masters in Social Work from Fordham University and has dedicated her career to helping young people build emotional resilience, strengthen coping skills, and navigate social, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

Jenna provides individual and family therapy, crisis intervention, and social‑emotional support for children and teens. She has a strong background in school‑based counseling, behavior intervention, and supporting children with IEPs, diverse learning needs, and emotional regulation difficulties.

Jenna’s approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths‑based. She partners closely with caregivers, educators, and other providers to create a supportive network around each child, ensuring interventions are tailored to their unique needs, interests, and developmental stage. Her sessions incorporate play, mindfulness, modeling, and skill‑building activities that help children express emotions, practice problem‑solving, and build confidence in a safe and engaging environment.
